Ep # 8 – How Do You Avoid Cows When Driving? Instructor Prank Call
Hi and welcome to another show with Swan & Soto! On today’s show, Chris joins us as we plan to have a fun-filled show with pranks and jokes – you […]
OH wow – 4 days into the new year, and we already have another lockdown! And, guess what that means NO more driving lessons, no more theory tests and no more driving tests! Now, the big question on everyone’s lips is: will the DSVA be offering keyworker tests as they did back in the first lockdown?
So, there we have it, folks! Boris has addressed the nation and the driving industry has once again come to another halt. No more driving lessons, no more tests of any kind. But will they resume keyworker tests as they did before? Or is this just a pipe dream? What are your thoughts?
As with anything, I am sure it’ll be a few days before the DVSA instruct the driving instructors via email – it usually is a little late. But, we all KNOW this time, we doubt that there will be an opportunity for keyworkers driving – more so, due to the spread of the new virus – that is my prediction anyhow. Let’s see if I am right! Would you learn to drive if you were allowed? Would you risk it? Would it affect you at all?
Personally, I won’t be doing any teaching as I have a high chance of becoming ill due to my asthma. I nearly died 2 years ago, just from the flu! Please check out our second podcast show! I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone!
I was thinking about this earlier. Would civil servants get a priority jab to keep the government services open? Would that mean that driving instructors would get a priority jab also? Again, we are not frontline health workers – of course not, but I wonder if there is a pecking order for job roles within the phased vaccination programme. I haven’t heard of such – but, you NEVER know!
I personally can’t wait to get my jab! Are you going to take it if you were offered the jab? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below this blog post.
OK – well this is anyone’s guess. Driving lessons in 2021 will be challenging for the avid learner driver. Today, SOTO and I recorded a podcast show which will be live shortly. So please do keep an eye out for that one! But, we are predicting a 6-9 month for driving tests by the time the spring comes.
If you haven’t got a driving instructor currently, make sure you find one now! After all, they are all at home able to answer the phone. Make sure you get ahead at least with the training you’ll need once the restrictions are lifted. It is going to be a manic market out there.
We are pleased to announce that the parent trainer ebook is coming along nicely, so if you are learning to drive with mum or dad – let them know about our impending course. Here to help you as much as possible. If of course, you are looking for an intensive driving course then we ONLY ever recommend LPOD Academy. You can check them out here.
Please leave any questions that you may have in the comments and until next time,
Take care.
