Was born in Islington London not so long ago, (😀), mother English and father Cypriot.
I’ve been a driving instructor for 6-7 years now and to tell you the truth, it’s the best job in the world!
I’ve lost count on how many have passed their test, but the first one was very special and I’m still in contact with that pupil.
Only last week we had a chat and he will show me his driving skills.
This is what he text me.
◦    Hey Soto, not bad thanks, still have my licence 😉 I’ve since passed a response driving course too as a Police Officer so I drive fast with blue lights now! Ex student
Soon as I saw that, I straight away asked him to show me, once the Covid has gone he will. Bless him.
He passed the first time. Yay!
The most frequently asked question by my pupils (is usually after the 4th lesson, from scratch) is,”When do you think I can book my practical test? (hides head in hands!
I always chuckle and then explain where they need to be, to become test standard! Time, patience and consistency!
They all usually reply, (oh).
But saying that, one of my pupils from scratch only needed ten lessons and he passed the first time. ( This is a very rare occurrence, I can assure you).
